Many Nottingham Forest fans were praising their team after they drew 1-1 away from home against Blackburn Rovers.
Sabri Lamouchi’s side initially went down 1-0 in the 63rd minute after a goal from Adam Armstrong, but the Reds equalised just two minutes later through defender Joe Lolley.
The result extends the club’s unbeaten run to nine games, stretching back to the opening day loss at home to West Bromwich Albion (via WhoScored).
The draw at Ewood Park capped off a good last week for the east Midlands side, who managed to win away at Stoke City just three days after losing 5-0 to Arsenal.
Lamouchi was pleased with his side as he took two positives from the game: the point won away from home and the players’ reaction after going 1-0 down. (via Nottingham Post).
These fans were thrilled with the point taken away from home as they took to Twitter to react. Here is a selection of tweets from the City Ground faithful:
Good point. We got battered the last 20 minutes @samba_brice man of the match.
