It would be very easy for fans to blame the manager following a heavy home defeat that could be described as embarrassing, however it appears some of the Nottingham Forest faithful are refusing to put that blame on the doorstep of Sabri Lamouchi.
“Everything went wrong. I want to apologise for the big loss in front of our own fans. I am the only one responsible for the loss and it is a big disappointment for me, for the players and for the fans.” #NFFC

The boss came out after the game and accepted responsibility for the 4-0 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday afternoon and admitted that “everything had gone wrong” and that he was “the only one responsible” for the defeat after witnessing a hat-trick from Jordan Rhodes and a goal from Steven Fletcher put his side to the sword in the first half (BBC).
However, although fans would have appreciated the fact that Lamouchi held his hands up and decided to take the responsibility fully on his shoulders, many of them refused to blame him and stated that it was the players fault, as they are the men on the pitch that can influence the game.
Some even felt the need to mention that they continued to trust his decisions and believed he was still the right man for the job.
Here are just some of their reactions…
Not Sabri’s fault the players couldn’t string 2 passes together or win their defensive headers

Sort it out. Gotta stop being stubborn and change formation at home, it’s not worked all season. In Sabri we trust

It isnt all your fault Sabri, the players have to take the blame. #InSabriWeTrust

Not managers fault the players want to have a good look at themselves, the most disappointing first half I have seen in 30years as a season ticket holder.First time in my life l have walked out of a football match at half time

How is it your Fault Sabri. You put 11 capable players in that pitch and THEY alone weren’t good enough. In all honesty though we’ve had this coming for some time IMO. We just aren’t good enough or consistent enough to get out of this league
