A number of Nottingham Forest fans appear to have been getting frustrated with what Lewis Grabban has been producing recently and his performance against Queens Park Rangers does not appear to have done him any favours with some of the club’s faithful on Twitter.
Of course, the striker failed to have an impact against the Rs on Saturday as the two sides were held to a goalless draw at the City Ground. However, it seems many were far from complimentary regarding his latest efforts in the Tricky Trees’ attempts to return to the Premier League.
Indeed, his match data also appears to show some justification to those supporters on social media airing out their criticism to the 32-year-old forward.
According to WhoScored, Grabban managed just three shots but failed to work the opposition goalkeeper with a single effort as all were off target, whilst he played three key passes but was dispossessed three times.
Fans stated that they had felt his form had dipped massively and that he had gone missing, with one even going as far as to state that he was a ‘waste of a jersey’.
Here are just some of their views on Grabban’s latest showing…
Grabban a total waste of a jersey, doesnt score unless its on a plate , doesnt create anything and wasteful with half chances . Give Walker a chance but really Gayle in January would have been ideal .

Yeah I'd go along with that. I'd like to have seen Joao come on earlier, I thought he showed intent and could've done something with more time in a game where Silva had been inconsistent. Agree with your comments re Ameobi, I thought grabban looked woefully short on confidence ☹

I will say it again our lack of goals will cost us, Grabban is turning into a real issue!!

Grabban is average, there, said it.

Grabban has downed tools completely, shocking last 5 games, doesn't warrant starting #nffc

Officials dreadful, but #NFFC not much better. Big players didn't turn up today, Lolley didn't look interested and another below par game from Grabban. Next game.

Grabban is so infuriatingly lazy #nffc
