Nottingham Forest: Fans slam Sabri Lamouchi for bringing on Ryan Yates

A plethora of Nottingham Forest fans took to Twitter to criticise Sabri Lamouchi for his decision to bring on Ryan Yates when the club were looking to break the deadlock against Queens Park Rangers.

The midfielder was brought into the action with around 30 minutes to go, replacing Sammy Ameobi in the process, however he failed to have the desired effect and did not help to change the game as the two sides played out a goalless draw.

Indeed, when taking a look at the impact the 22-year-old had in the last half-an-hour or so of the game, it might become rather easy as to why so many of the club’s faithful were questioning and criticising their manager for the decision he made.

According to WhoScored, Yates failed to take a shot or play a key pass to a team-mate, whilst he managed to win four aerial duels. Defensively, the midfielder did okay, although nothing outstanding, as he managed to complete one tackle and make two clearances.

Fans were left questioning Lamouchi on Twitter throughout the game and in the aftermath of the result, with some even suggesting that the poor decision he made had cost them their chance of taking all three points.

Here are just some of their reactions…
