Nottingham Forest fans took to Twitter as they gave their thoughts on who should win the September goal of the month.
Fans believed that Sammy Ameobi should win the award for his header against Stoke City in their 3-2 win over the Potters.
Ameobi joined the East Midlands club from League One Bolton Wanderers on a one-year deal after the expiration of his contract at the Macron Stadium (via BBC).
The forward has featured heavily for the City Ground side this season, playing in all but one of the 14 fixtures for Sabri Lamouchi’s side (via WhoScored).
Forest have enjoyed a great start to the season as they sit in second place in the Championship, behind West Bromwich Albion on goal difference.
The fans knew which goal they wanted to win the goal of the month award as they took to Twitter to give their support to Ameobi and his header against Stoke.
