Nottingham Forest could only manage a 1-1 draw with Middlesbrough last night in the Sky Bet Championship as Paddy McNair cancelled out Ryan Yates’ strike for the Reds.
The Reds went into the game surely thinking that this was a good opportunity to earn three points in the play-off race and with Yates scoring they would have felt as though a win was on the way.
Boro held firm, though, and got a goal themselves before leaving Trentside with a point which, given Leeds United won against Hull, didn’t go down well with Forest fans.
Indeed, the Reds, like many others in the top six, look set to fight it out in the play-offs rather than for the top two right now and some players came in for criticism after the game.
One of those was Joe Lolley, so let’s take a look at what was said on Twitter:
Looks to me as if he is not fully fit.

Hopefully darikwa, sow & ribiero get fit real soon, having these back would be massive & allow cash to go forward as Lolley been as useless as dumitru this season #NFFC

Very frustrating result last night. I’d love to see Joao Carvalho given a run of games behind Grabban now. Stick with Lolley, he will come good. Huge game Saturday. #NFFC

WBA have Diangara, Leeds have Harrison, we have Ameobi.. go figure.
Just because he's a free transfer fans let him off, but let's face facts, he's not promotion material is he? Can someone also find the real Joe Lolley #nffc

Lolley is a shadow of his former self…… Until we get another striker to form a partnership with Grabban some of the current players really need to step up a few more gears! 😡#nffc
