Nottingham Forest drew last night with Reading in the Sky Bet Championship at the City Ground as they played out a 1-1 draw.
The Reds have been impressive so far this season and are one of the promotion contenders for the campaign this year.
Certainly, they are a side capable of great form at any given moment but last night they will mark down as a missed opportunity.
With West Brom and Leeds there to be caught and Fulham drawing, too, Forest were on their way to a big three points but Sam Baldock would score for the Royals to ensure the spoils were shared.
Fans had plenty to say on social media after the game as you’d expect, then, and midfielder Tiago Silva was one man to come in for plenty of comment.
Let’s see what has been said about him on Twitter as the Reds look to get themselves ready for a big league game next week against Brentford.
Silva is so frustrating. He's a good passer but he's so ineffective in the final third. So many times tonight he had the ball in a promising position but then gave it away or went sideways or backwards instead of that penetrating ball. 2 assists 0 goals isn't good enough #nffc

He couldn't pass wind last night

Agree we need to sign a better player to play in attacking midfield role, someone with some power to drive with the ball

He has excellent control and composure on the ball and can play some great passes and has skill, he’ll be a key player for Forest, like most of this team, they’ve only been playing together six months or more, give him time, he can be the best player on the pitch sometimes

He's a deep lying playmaker being played further forward at the expense of Carvalho. Silva doesn't have the qualities be the most advance CM. For me he's the long term replacement for Watson.

I agree pal. All of the midfield and wingers should be scoring. Silva with his quality should have more than one goal to his name

4 assists, but agree to an extent.

Willing to give him time. Players from Europe don’t bed in immediately.

Still better player than the £13m flop carvalio
