Queens Park Rangers produced a terrific display to beat Blackburn Rovers 4-2 at Loftus Road on Saturday.
Can QPR make the play-offs this season?
The R’s had gone into the game on the back of successive defeats against West Brom and Cardiff City, but that didn’t stop them putting Rovers to the sword.
Jordan Hugill, Bright Osayi-Samuel and Nahki Wells were all on the scoresheet, as was their rising star Eberechi Eze.
The 21-year-old played his first full season in a QPR shirt last term, making 42 Championship appearances and scoring four goals whilst also providing four assists (via Transfermarkt).
He has been a regular once again this campaign and seems to have got even better, and the stats back that up as he has already matched his goals tally from last season after just 12 games, whilst also creating two assists.
Against Blackburn he was named as the Man of the Match, and looking at the stats it is easy to see why. As well as his goal he also played two key passes, made three successful dribbles and finished the match with an impressive 88.6% passing accuracy which left him with a rating of 7.96 (via WhoScored).
Indeed, it is fair to say that the fans love him after seeing him burst into the first team in recent years.
Here is what some QPR supporters had to say about Eze after his brilliant performance against Blackburn…
Stamina, strength, grace – you have the lot ebere, huge congrats on ur continued success, u r’ssss #qpr
