QPR slumped to a 2-0 defeat against Leeds United at the weekend as the R’s saw goals from Jack Harrison and Tyler Roberts put them away in the Sky Bet Championship.
Even so, the R’s are still contenders for the play-offs this season and with the battle for promotion looking tighter than ever, they will feel as though they can finish positively this campaign.
Mark Warburton will feel as though he’s got a few things to work with this week, meanwhile, and he may well be pleased to see Lee Wallace come into the side at the weekend and do a good job.
We’ve seen little of him so far for the Loftus Road side but he impressed despite the defeat to the Whites and also pulled off a cracking challenge on Patrick Bamford, that the Hoops shared again on social media:
There was quite the reaction to this, too, so let’s see the best of what has been said:
Great tackle but the fact we even let teams pass straight through us like that is why we’ve conceded 28 this season already…only Barnsley is worse than us for conceding

@JOrbell98 even better tackle then I thought

Great tackle, shame that our defensive shape isn’t there and hasn’t been for a while, it shows in that video, they could get through that easily that he had to do such a good tackle…..
