Queens Park Rangers suffered only their third Championship defeat of the season against West Brom on Saturday.
Can Mark Warburton take QPR to the Premier League?
The R’s were beaten 2-0 at Loftus Road, a result which put an end to their four-match winning streak in the league.
It was certainly a fair result as West Brom created seven shots on target throughout the match and managed to stop QPR from having a single one.
Most of the Rangers players appeared off the pace, including striker Nahki Wells, who had gone into the game in good form having netted five times in his four previous appearances.
The former Bradford City striker struggled throughout the afternoon. He had a total of six unsuccessful touches, which was more than any other player on the pitch, whilst also being dispossessed three times and managing just one shot which was off target (via WhoScored).
Wells was eventually brought off after 76 minutes by manager Mark Warburton, ending a disappointing afternoon for the Burnley loanee.
After the game he tweeted about the defeat, admitting it was a bad day for his team and that the Baggies were the better outfit.
Plenty of R’s fans responded to the tweet, with several remaining quite upbeat despite losing the game. Here is what a few of them had to say…
Exactly right, draw a line under it and go again Wednesday

Good honesty from Nakhi. I think that’s very positive. We ran into a good side and go again midweek. Well done Nakhi.
