QPR: Fans can’t understand calls for Mark Warburton to be sacked

Some Queens Park Rangers fans have admitted that they can not understand the calls from some sections of their own fanbase for Mark Warburton’s head.
The Rs managed to pick up a hard-fought and vital point against Derby County in their Championship fixture on Saturday afternoon, which led to a number of supporters being happy with the result on the club’s Twitter page.
However, there appear to have been calls from some sections of the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium’s fans demanding for Warburton to go after a rather disappointing campaign.
Although QPR sit eight points above the relegation zone, their recent form in the division has been nothing but abysmal. Rangers have not managed to pick up a win since the middle of October – when they beat Blackburn Rovers and Hull City in back-to-back fixtures (per WhoScored).
Whilst some fans are concerned with the club’s current standing, some are still prepared to give Warburton the time he needs to turn things around and are calling for the club to finally give them some of the stability that they would like to see in west London.
Here are just some of their reactions…
Nothing but thanks from me for @MarkWarburton9. Over-performing with an inadequate squad. Talk of a managerial change is stupid beyond reason. We need better performances from our players and we need better players in certain positions, but Warburton has been class. #QPR

Calls for Warburton’s sacking far too premature.
Needs next window & hopefully the summer to sort things.
Stability, consistency & hopefully to install some confidence based on that. #QPR— Barry Byrne (@ByrneBarry) November 30, 2019
Personally, I would like to see stability at the club while playing attractive entertaining football. Unless things went very badly wrong, i would like him there for three years min. Building an ethos of style at the club

100%. I think anyone calling him to be sacked is a numpty. People pointing to his sacking at Forest as evidence, Sexton was sacked by Chelsea and Venables was struggling at Palace before joining us, our greatest 2 managers ever.

This is sensible, Warburton will need another couple of transfer windows to get us really competitive. We will also sell before we buy.

Insanity. Playing attractive football. Will take time. I would give him minimum 2 more years

Some sense at last .. well said and 100% correct .. let’s be honest all that happened was he raised expectations for the start we had but now we I believe at our level , needs time and if he keeps having good transfer window s like he did we will improve … nice one mate

Totally agree. It’s slow. But feel we are moving in the right direction. We really need , at least one, top central defender. Hopefully the talent scouts can pick up a gem somewhere.
