Queens Park Rangers got back to winning ways on Saturday, beating Blackburn Rovers 4-2 in an entertaining fixture at Loftus Road.

Mark Warburton’s side were impressive throughout, and goals from Nahki Wells, Eberechi Eze, Bright Osayi-Samuel and Jordan Hugill secured the three points for the West London side.

It was a crucial win for the R’s, who had gone into the game having lost back-to-back fixtures against West Brom and Cardiff City. It means that they stay in touch with the top six going into the international break, with just a single point between themselves and Bristol City who currently occupy the final play-off place.

There were plenty of impressive performers for QPR on the day including their four goalscorers, however one man who caught the eye of most supporters was Ryan Manning.

The 23-year-old has been moved to left-back by Warburton, which is a new position for the Irishman who has played the majority of his career to date in midfield.

But he seems to have taken to it very well, and produced an excellent display in that role against Blackburn at the weekend. Indeed he made three interceptions, three key passes and one successful tackle in the match, whilst also managing to register an assist (via WhoScored).
