Queens Park Rangers: Fans slam Club Brugge’s £3m transfer bid for Bright Osayi-Samuel - QPR

Many QPR fans have hit out at Club Brugge over a “derisory” transfer offer for winger Bright Osayi-Samuel.

West London Sport reported that the Belgian club submitted a £3m bid for the 22-year-old which was flatly rejected by the R’s. The news was later shared on Twitter by @WestLondonSport.

The Nigerian, who according to West London Sport is in discussions with QPR about a new contract at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium, has scored six goals and provided eight assists in 32 appearances for the club this season.

He had been in impressive form in the Hoops’ most recent outings before the season was halted amid the coronavirus pandemic – he set up three goals in their last two games, with two assists in the 3-1 win at Preston and one in the home draw against Birmingham. He also found the net in the 4-2 defeat of Stoke in February. [via TransferMarkt]
