Queens Park Rangers: Fans dreaming of promotion after Millwall win

Jubilant Hoops fans are starting to believe their side could become unlikely promotion contenders following their 2-1 success away at Millwall.

Nahki Wells’ double sent QPR into fourth place, just a point off the Championship table’s summit after the top two both dropped points.

The win at The Den was a fourth consecutive victory in the league for Mark Warburton’s men, and after securing their lofty position in the table at this early stage of the campaign, some fans think a promotion tilt could be on the cards.

Wells took his goal tally to six with an instinctive finish which he followed up by capitalising on a goalkeeping error from Millwall’s Bartosz Bialkowski to restore the side’s lead just moments following the hosts’ equaliser.

And after holding on for the points, there were plenty of supporters dreaming the club could return to the top flight five years after their last Premier League appearance:
