It’s hard to believe that West Bromwich Albion are still going strong despite sacking Darren Moore in the midst of an automatic promotion push, as many teams would have crumbled.
James Shan has worked wonders since becoming the caretaker manager and he managed to get another win under his belt against Birmingham City last time out, as Jake Livermore’s thunderbolt secured all three points.
Although, things are about to get a whole lot hard for the Baggies as they’ll travel to The Den later on today to face a tough Millwall side. The Lions almost came away from Elland Road with a point last time out in the Championship, so Shan’s side will be in for a very difficult afternoon.
And, things weren’t all perfect last time out against the Blues so Shan may need to make a couple of changes to his side, which should include dropping this man…
BENCH AHMED HEGAZI
Ahmed Hegazi, who is valued at £7.2 million (by Transfermarkt), has been a key performer for the Baggies in the current campaign but he occasionally has his off days and the 29th of March was one of them. His ability on the ball remains limited and so at times he gave the ball away in an undesirable area, as well as losing a number of headers.
Millwall love to get balls into the box and could look to make the most of Steve Morrison’s height in the final third, so Shan should bite the bullet and give Kyle Bartley a chance.
