Sheffield United: Blades fans react on Twitter to Enda Stevens’ performance against Hull

Although David McGoldrick may have grabbed all the headlines in Sheffield United’s 3-0 victory at Hull City, it was the impact of another player who impressed some of the club’s supporters.
After scoring his first goal of the season in the Blades’ Good Friday triumph against Nottingham Forest, Enda Stevens doubled his tally for the year by heading home a George Baldock cross at the KCOM Stadium.
An ever-present for Chris Wilder’s side since joining the club from Portsmouth in 2017, the Republic of Ireland international is on the verge of getting a second opportunity to prove himself as a Premier League player.
Having made seven appearances for Aston Villa in the top flight during the 2012/13 campaign, Stevens will be keen to demonstrate that he is good enough to play at that level again yet in order to do this, he must first help United secure a top-two finish in the Championship in May.
Monday’s victory against the Tigers saw the Blades move one step closer to realising this dream as victories in their remaining two fixtures will guarantee automatic promotion.
After seeing their side secure a dominant victory, these United fans took to Twitter to praise Stevens for his contribution.
