The Owls beat Stoke City 1-0 in their last outing (BBC Sport), meaning that they have now won four of their last seven, losing just once (Transfermarkt).

Several players have been playing well for Garry Monk, but one who has been getting specific praise on social media is defender Morgan Fox.

The 26-year-old hasn’t been a regular this season, indeed he was on the bench for eight of Wednesday’s opening 11 Championship fixtures (Transfermarkt).

However, he has started their last two matches against Cardiff City and Stoke City and fans have been impressed with the former Charlton Athletic player.

Against Stoke, the stats show that he had a good game. He won four aerial duels, made four clearances and two tackles, blocked one shot and made one key pass in the 90 minutes, finishing with a WhoScored rating of 7.32 – the second-highest of any Owls player.
