The Owls went into the game a point behind the Whites, and that was still the case at full-time as the two sides played out a stalemate (BBC Sport).

Defensively both sides were impressive, with Morgan Fox in particular claiming plenty of praise for his display from the Sheffield Wednesday supporters.

The left-back didn’t begin the season as a first team regular. Indeed, he started just three of the Owls’ opening 11 league matches of the season (via Transfermarkt).

However, recently he has managed to break into Garry Monk’s starting 11 and has now played their last three matches from the beginning (Transfermarkt).

Fox was praised for his display against Stoke City in midweek by supporters, and they have once again been left impressed with his performance as he helped his team to a clean sheet against Leeds.

As well as the clean sheet, Fox also won two aerial duels, played one key pass, made four interceptions and three clearances in the 90 minutes, finishing with a WhoScored rating of 7.71 – the highest of any player on the pitch.
