Rolando Aarons must be kept permanently at Sheffield Wednesday

Rolando Aarons must be kept permanently at Sheffield Wednesday - Sheffield Wednesday

What an unbelievable turnaround Steve Bruce has helped orchestrate at Hillsborough in 2019! It has been so successful, in fact, that Sheffield Wednesday now even have the slightest chance of reaching the play-offs.

That never would have been a genuine ambition this season until the former Aston Villa man sat in the hot seat so whatever happens from now until the end of the season, credit Steve Bruce. He’s brought in and turned to a few new players since he took over as well, one of which most certainly has to stay beyond his loan agreement this season.

If you haven’t worked it out already, Rolando Aarons should definitely be extending his stay at Hillsborough.

With Newcastle reportedly (via the Chronicle) keen on selling the winger, Aarons, (who is valued at £450k on Transfermarkt) could find a far better match for him at Sheffield Wednesday.

His loan spell so far has been filled with success because ever since he has been brought in, whether it’s solely his ability or not, he has not lost in a Wednesday shirt. Whilst scoring a goal and assisting one as well, Rolando Aarons has gone some way to showing what he is really capable of and that is impressive to witness.

Yes when looking back at his track record already at the age of 23, Aarons has endured a number of unsuccessful spells during his career. Indeed, with a top manager by his side, Rolando Aarons could transform into the consistently dangerous winger everyone believed he would be in the first place.

By adding goals and assists to his game from now until the end of the season, there is no reason why Sheffield Wednesday should disagree with making a deal permanent.

Sheffield Wednesday fans, how impressed have you been by Aarons? Want him signed up permanently? Join the discussion…
