The official Sheffield Wednesday Twitter account has posted footage of Atdhe Nuhiu’s goal this time five years ago and fans are absolutely loving taking a trip down memory lane.
In what was a dramatic end to the 2014/15 Championship season, Watford were denied their winners’ status by one goal from a certain Kosovo international.
As the Hornets led the match 1-0, it looked a certain victory on home soil for them as the seconds ticked down. Three points would have secured the Championship title for Watford, but Nuhiu had other plans. His stoppage time goal snubbed Watford of maximum points and the title was instead given to Bournemouth who won with just a one point lead.
Wednesday fans are absolutely loving the throwback footage of Nuhiu’s late goal and are reminiscing over the atmosphere at Vicarage Road that day. One supporter is relishing over ‘what a day’ it was, whilst another has branded the comeback simply as ‘unbelievable’.
What a day 💙🦉

Bonkers – unbelievable scenes, then ref blew whistle when @lloyd_isgrove was clean through!
I think he kept on running as when we were stumbling down the street to train station he came jogging by.
And @maxswfc who walked by with a cone and bag of sand 😂😂😂
