Sheffield Wednesday took Nottingham Forest to the cleaners on Saturday afternoon as they ran out 4-0 winners in the Sky Bet Championship at the City Ground.
Both sides look play-off contenders this season but on Saturday only one side really looked capable of achieving that with the away side smashing four past the hosts in an incredible first half.
Naturally, that killed the game as a spectacle for the second half with the game very much just going through the motions as Forest tried to save some face.
Wednesday would maintain their four-goal advantage, though, with no more goals and no more conceded in the second period.
Indeed, it was a clean sheet for Cameron Dawson and since, the Owls have shown their appreciation for the stopper on Twitter with this tweet:
Fans have joined in, too, so let’s take a look at what has been said:

Got a clean sheet because we started Palmer and Luongo. We looked much better without Hutch and Odubajo. They should be starting every game if fit…

I’ve criticised CD previously but since he came into the team again he’s looked confident and the keeper we know he can be. Well done Cameron and Nicky Weaver 👏🏻
