Sheffield Wednesday are on the road again this weekend as they travel to west London to take on QPR in the fourth round of this season’s FA Cup.
The Owls earned a place in this weekend’s round by beating Brighton and Hove Albion away from home with a good performance against the Premier League side.
Indeed, they certainly seem stronger when on their travels at the moment, with their last home game proving poor as they slumped to a 5-0 loss against Blackburn Rovers.
Garry Monk will be hoping for a response tomorrow night, then, and it seems as though he is also hoping for new signings to come through the door before the end of the window:
GM on potential incomings: "I am hoping so. The need for it is clear.
"I am hoping we can get something done as soon as possible. I know the club are working as hard as we can to get one or two across the line." #SWFC

One or two sounds like the number of arrivals they could make, then, but it seems as though Owls fans aren’t too impressed by that figure.
Let’s take a look at what has been said about that on social media:
That's a recording from two weeks back isn't it 🤷♂️😂
