It was all level deep into injury time at New York Stadium, as Rotherham United were managing to hold Sheffield Wednesday in their Yorkshire Derby Carabao Cup tie.
They managed to last until the 96th minute, when Atdhe Nuhiu stabbed the ball into the roof of the net from close range to seal the win for the Owls.
It’s safe to say that those associated with the club were pretty happy about it:

Nuhiu has been on the periphery so far this campaign, having played just 17 minutes of Championship football, which came at the end of the 2-1 loss against Preston North End, while he didn’t even make the bench for the Luton Town game, as per Transfermarkt.
He has had a massive impact since moving to Hillsborough in 2013 though, having made a total of 237 appearances, scoring 43 goals and assisting another 23.
While it can be easy to forget the impact someone can make when they are fading into the background at a club, this acts as a reminder of how effective the Kosovo international can be.
A selection of Twitter reaction to the goal, including posts from delighted Sheffield Wednesday fans, can be seen below:
Club legend don’t care what the haters say.
