Sheffield United made it two wins from two this weekend as they saw off Norwich City at Bramall Lane.
The Blades had lost their opening two, but once again manager Chris Wilder has turned things around as he looks to guide his beloved Blades to the playoffs and a shot at a place in the Premier League.
The recent signing of midfielder Oliver Norwood is something of a coup for the Blades, and he demonstrated his class this weekend with an excellent display against the Canaries.
However, his arrival and inclusion in the XI means it spells bad news for fellow midfielder John Lundstram, who now finds himself on the bench and down the pecking order at Bramall Lane.
Lundstram had started both the opening two fixtures for United, but his performances have not quite been up to Championship standard, and a lot of United fans feel he is simply never going to have the quality to compete in the Championship.
Norwood’s arrival and early performances only highlight this further.
Lundstram could well be looking for a new club come January. The signing of Norwood, the impending return of Paul Coutts, and the upturn in form of Ryan Leonard all spell danger for the former Oxford man.
Norwood is a superb bit of business for United, and someone was always going to have to make way. It appears the Lundstram is going to be that man.
