The Stoke City fans who are competing in a darts tournament in The Transfer Tavern this evening are discussing reports that one of their stars could be set to exit the club this summer.

The Daily Mirror claim the Potters are fearful of losing Marko Arnautovic PSG this summer despite offering him a bumper new contract to remain at the Brittania Stadium.

The Austrian attacker enjoyed the best season of his career last season and is reportedly on the radar of French giants Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

With the 27-year old having a £12.5 million buy out clause on his current deal which has a year to run the club’s chief executive is fearful that he will leave this summer.

“I would love to appear more knowledgeable than anyone else on this. But the truth is it’s in Marko’s hands”, revealed chief executive Tony Scholes.

“And at the moment, the decision he’s taken is that he doesn’t want to sign yet.

“He’s not out of contract for another year, albeit there is a release clause in his contract.

“We hope he will sign, but as I sit here now I can’t give you a definitive answer on that.”

The Stoke fans in The Tavern believe that if the former Inter Milan youngster doesn’t want to be at the club they should just let him go!

Do Stoke deserve another season for him, after sticking by him?
