Over the years, the Stoke City fans in the Transfer Tavern have enjoyed some of our finest ales while watching their side tranced from a previously unfashionable outfit into a club that houses Champions League winners aplenty.
One of those is Xherdan Shaqiri, who shocked the footballing world when he joined the Potters last term, after enjoying a trophy-laden spell with Bayern Munich.
However, some bad news for those from the Potteries has come with the Swiss star linked with a return to Germany this summer, with Borussia Dortmund reportedly interested.
Football writer and journalist Emanuele Giulianelli tweeted Dortmund are eyeing up the 24-year old as a replacement for Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who departed to Manchester United earlier in this window.

The playmaker showed his quality at Euro 2016, with that spectacular overhead kick against Poland, that is now up for the goal of the tournament.
Having only arrived at the Britannia Stadium last year, it would likely take a significant bid for the club to allow Shaqiri to leave.
He made 32 appearances last season, bagging 3 goals for The Potters, with the most memorable likely to be that right footed stunner against Everton just after Christmas.
What do you think Stoke fans?! What fee would you be happy with to allow Shaqiri to leave? Let us know in the comments below!
