Stoke City supporters have been in fine voice in the Transfer Tavern this week after seeing their side secure back-to-back victories to kick-start their season.
Gary Rowett’s men made a very sluggish opening to the new Championship campaign in failing to win any of their first four league games, only to finally record a victory by beating Hull City 2-0 at the bet365 Stadium last weekend. And the Potters backed up that win with another in the Carabao Cup in midweek by easing past Premier League outfit Huddersfield Town, with a Saido Berahino strike alongside a Juninho Bacuna own goal sealing a routine 2-0 success for Rowett’s side.
Thus, there have been many upbeat Stoke fans up and down the country in recent times, several of whom have been reacting to the news that Geoff Cameron has left the club to join fellow Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers on loan for the rest of the season.

The 33-year-old made the move to Staffordshire back in 2012 and has since gone on to play 186 times for the Potters, 168 of which coming in the Premier League.
But in failing to feature in any of Stoke’s opening five Championship matches, as well as their two Carabao Cup encounters, it’s clear that the United States international is some way down the pecking order at the bet365 Stadium, hence the door was open for QPR to strike a loan deal on Friday.
Yet it’s a decision from the club which hasn’t gone down too well with plenty of Stoke fans, with many believing that Cameron still had something to offer, and thus that the Potters have made a transfer mistake…
Keeping Fletcher and getting rid of him is ridiculous. Far better midfielder than fletcher when fit.

Strange decision. Better centre back than most on our books and a decent midfielder when fit.

Rather keep him than fletcher or Adam. Don’t understand this.
— Dave (@DavidHackney5) August 31, 2018
Why have we done this??
— Ryan Taylor (@RyanTayylorr) August 31, 2018
Why let him join a rival? Baffling..
— AndyB (@AndyB73) August 31, 2018
Why let him go, out of all our midfielders? Great servant to the club and has done more good for us than Fletcher/Adam have

Shame, should have been in the team over Fletch

Gutted, can you not swap with Fletcher instead, all the best @GeoffCameron see you next season
