Our Stoke fans here in the Transfer Tavern are hoping for a strong finish to the season under Mark Hughes before what they hope will be a good summer.
The Potters have once again done well this season though a finish in the European spots is unlikely now.
They’ll be looking to assemble a squad ready to challenge for that next year, then, though it appears Spanish forward Bojan really won’t be a part of that.
The former Barcelona man has fallen out of favour at the Bet365 Stadium this season and duly left on loan for Mainz 05 in January.
Many here by the bar felt that that temporary move would allow him to reset and get back into the side on his return but, according to The Stoke Sentinel, that isn’t the case.
They are claiming that the Potters are willing to listen to offers for the one-time hugely exciting player and it seems that his career is starting to stall.
He may rediscover some of that form at the next club he moves to but, at Stoke at least, his days seem to be numbered.
