It’s no shocker to say that Stoke City are one of the few sides in the Premier League lacking that young and upcoming talent.
This is causing Potters fans here in the Transfer Tavern to have quite a glum expression on their faces when looking at the future of the club.
According to a study from the Express in August of last year, Stoke had the second oldest average age side in the whole of the league, at 28 years and 2 months.
Taking this into account, it’s clear Stoke need some young guns in their side to revitalise a spark in the starting eleven. However, could they be overlooking players who are already in their squad?
