Swansea City managed to secure all three points against Millwall last time out as they showed great spirit and determination.
The Swans will have their sights set firmly on securing promotion straight back to the Premier League this season, with Graham Potter beginning to get things right in Wales.
However, Swansea will welcome Nottingham Forest to the Liberty Stadium in their next Championship encounter. Forest have been a mixed bag so far this season but they have similar aims to the Swans, so it will be a very tight matchup later on today.
Nevertheless, Graham Potter has some decisions to make in terms of team selection, with a couple of players possibly forcing their way into the side.
With that in mind, these TWO Swansea City men must start today…
The right-back was brought on as a substitute against Millwall last time out and completely changed the game, scoring the equaliser in the 76th minute.
Indeed, the 29-year-old was electric on the ball and showed great composure to slot the ball into the bottom corner, so there’s no reason as to why Potter shouldn’t call upon the defender against Forest today.
Jefferson Montero has gotten used to spending his time on the substitutes’ bench in recent seasons at the Liberty Stadium, but he has never failed to have a desired effect when called upon.
Interestingly, the South American was electric last time out against Millwall and single-handedly created the winning goal for Oliver McBurnie by putting the ball on a plate for the forward.
Therefore, Potter should put his trust in the winger after such an inspired display last time out as the Swans would be worse off without the 29-year-old’s efforts.
