Speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live (as quoted via WalesOnline) Swansea City manager Bob Bradley has revealed his transfer plans ahead of the January window.
The Swans finally won their first game under Bradley at the weekend in sensational fashion, leaving our resident Swans fans feeling absolutely ecstatic.
They hadn’t actually won in the league since the opening day against Burnley but it was arguably worth the wait with nine goal thriller against Crystal Palace ensuing on Saturday afternoon.
After going 1-0 down an 4-3 down in the last few minutes the Swans turned things around to win 5-4 and undoubtedly leave the squad in good spirits.
A lot of questions were asked about the two sides’ defensive works, though, and that appears to be the area in which Bradley wants to improve in January with him citing the loss of Ashley Williams in the summer.
“All Swansea supporters know that Ash Williams and Andre Ayew were important players last year,” Bradley said.
“When players like that leave, not only do you lose the talent they had on the field, but both of those players were strong figures in the dressing room.
“But I think we can find ways to improve ourselves.”
The Swans face a tough fixture against Tottenham next time out with Spurs looking to bounce back from a first of their own last weekend, a Premier League loss this season.
It’s set to be a tough fixture undoubtedly but our resident Swans fans here by the bar think that, after last weekend, pretty much anything is possible.
