Swansea City have been rather impressive in recent times, with a play-off spot still being a possibility if they can enjoy a strong second half of the season.
The Swans have certainly come on leaps and bounds under Graham Potter, but there’re still plenty of improvements to be had in the January transfer window. Although, it appears as if the club are focused on securing a big player agreement, as according to BBC Sport, Swansea are open to talks with Daniel James over a new deal.
Potter has suggested Swansea City are open to talks over a new contract for Wales international Daniel James.
“It’s something we’ll speak about as a club and with the player,”
“We’re aware of all the contract situations and it’s about the right time for both parties to get things sorted, but I don’t have any concerns with Dan.”
Swansea City are open to talks with Daniel James over a new contract, which just goes to show that they are looking to tie him down to a new deal, but it just depends on whether James is interested.
This would be a big agreement for the Swans as the Wales international has plenty of potential and could go on to play a big part in the future of the club.
