Swansea City should consider loan move for this Chelsea man

Swansea City supporters in the Transfer Tavern are hopeful of further reinforcements before the conclusion of the summer transfer window.

Having secured the departure of Gylfi Sigurdsson to Everton, Paul Clement has a substantial amount of money at his disposal to reinvest in his squad. Reports emerged last week that the Welsh side was readying moves for Joe Allen, Nacer Chadli and Wilfred Bony.

While the players above will provide quality, experience and depth, it is likely that each player will cost Swansea a hefty fee. Accordingly, the Swans should look at potential loan deals as a method of enhancing the quality of their squad. Paul Clement has already acquired Tammy Abraham from Chelsea on a season-long loan, and he should consider approaching the Champions for the services of Charly Musonda.

The youngster is regarded as one of the most prized assets that the West London club has, and the Belgian made his long-awaited debut for the Blues against Burnley last weekend. Despite only being 20-years-old, the winger has amassed experience playing for Real Betis in La Liga, where he impressed in one of the most coveted leagues in world football.

The starlet is lauded for his remarkable dribbling ability and natural flair. He’s at ease with the ball at his feet, and he thrives when taking opponents on. Additionally, he exhibits great speed and a genuinely impressive skill set. His presence would provide Swansea’s attack with another dimension and would augment the creativity that the Swans side showcase.
