Our Swansea fans here in the Transfer Tavern are looking for good news desperately right now and might be about to get it with ESPNFC suggesting Steven Caulker could be on the way.
The Welsh club have been in poor form all season and have worked through two managers already in Bob Bradley and Francesco Guidolin prior to that so they’re desperately in need of someone to come and steady the ship.
On the pitch, they could do with some steadying, too, with their defence leaking goals for fun at the moment.
They got battered by West Ham 4-1 last time out and so it appears they are looking at one of their former defensive stars to come and help them out.
Caulker enjoyed a pretty successful time during his first stint with the Welsh club and our Swans punters here by the bar would certainly like to see a repeat of those performances should he join for the second half of the season.
Our landlord thinks it’d be a good signing, too, as Swansea need as much help that they can get right now.
Would you take Caulker, Swans fans? Let us know below!
