Swansea eyeing 25-year-old winger in bid to save their season

Our Swansea City fans here in the Transfer Tavern want to see their side make some signings ASAP and, according to French outlet L’Equipe, that might just be about to happen.

The Swans are on to their third manager of the season already with Paul Clement now charged with keeping the club up and after a good win at Crystal Palace a couple of weeks ago, that momentum was halted at the weekend.

The Welsh club were beaten 4-0 by Arsenal and so it is evident, if it wasn’t already, that they need to get options in.

It appears, then, that that is exactly what Clement is trying to do with a loan bid launched for former Chelsea youngster Gael Kakuta.

The winger is currently in China with Hebei China Fortune after moving there in the summer from Sevilla but is reportedly subject to interest from the Swans.

They are not alone in their interest, though, with Saint-Etienne and Deportivo La Coruna also thought to be keen.

We could be in for quite a transfer tussle then and our landlord can’t wait to see it pan out.
