Swansea fans on Twitter could not believe their eyes seeing Daniel James’ goal

Swansea fans had a day to remember yesterday. The Swans 4-1 FA Cup win over Brentford saw them into the quarter-finals in spectacular fashion and will go down as one of the brightest moments of the season for the Championship side, with Daniel James magnificent solo goal the highlight of the day.

Graham Potters’ side went into the break against Brentford a goal down and looking abysmal. They were booed off the park as the half-time whistle was blown, and the fans could only imagine what was to come. After Potter got some pearls of wisdom across to his players they started to come into their own and a Daniel James led Swansea turned on the style, winning the second half 4-0 to progress.

The fans didn’t have long to wait at all and found themselves 2-1 up having completed the turnaround inside just seven second-half minutes, and the goal that turned the tie on its head as Swansea took the lead was sublime. After a Brentford free-kick fell to the feet of James on the edge of his box he carried it the full length of the pitch with blistering pace, leaving the Bees in his wake as burst into the Brentford box and fired past Luke Daniels for 2-1.
