After a turbulent month in April, Francesco Guidolin will be able to focus on the coming season with his Swansea side and fans in the Football Transfer Tavern were delighted upon hearing the news of his contract extension.
And it seems that no time is being wasted in the transfer market as Swedish news outlet Expressen report that the Welsh side have lodged an undisclosed bid for Celta Vigo striker John Guidetti.
The Swede is a hot topic of late, becoming a major player in the Celta side who finished sixth in La Liga this season.
The 24-year old scored six goals from 12 league starts in Spain this year and is continuing his efforts in building an impressive portfolio.
His time is Spain has seen the striker establish himself as a palpable goal threat, carrying on the good form he showed at Celtic while on loan from Manchester City.
“I enjoy the Celta right now, but we’ll see”, cryptically revealed the former City ace when quizzed over his future with O Celtiña.
”That said, I’m very happy right now but am focused on the European Championship first so we’ll see later.”
