After completing his first assignment in keeping Swansea in the Premier League, Paul Clement will now be tasked with lifting his side towards the middle of the table – something the Swans in the Transfer Tavern want to see.
Swansea are about to begin their 7th consecutive season in the top flight of English football, an achievement matched by only a handful of clubs of a similar stature.
Competition for places is hotting up, with the signing of three players already this summer. Clement’s side, who begin their season with a tough trip away to Southampton already have Las Palmas midfielder Roque Mesa to call upon and Dutchman Erwin Mulder has also joined on a free.
Meanwhile, Clement now has options up front after the club fought off Newcastle to the signing of Tammy Abraham from Chelsea.
