West Bromwich Albion will be desperate to secure automatic promotion to the Premier League in the current campaign, with arguably one of the strongest squads in the Championship.
The Baggies have been pretty impressive up until this point in their Championship campaign, but they’re still lacking the killer touch that could really take their promotion bid to the next level.
However, it appears as if Darren Moore is looking to strengthen, as according to The Telegraph, West Brom are interested in signing Fulham’s Kevin McDonald.
Interestingly, the Midlands club want to bring McDonald to the Hawthorns this month.
Sadly, the central midfielder hasn’t been able to secure regular minutes in the Premier League this season, so a move to the Championship seems like a sensible move for the Scotland international.
Moore is keen to bring in a midfielder this month, and McDonald may just be the perfect man for the job after securing promotion to the Premier League with the Cottagers last season.
Kevin McDonald, who is valued at £3.6 million (by Transfermarkt), was one of the standout performers in the Championship last season, so his quality and experience could help the Baggies’ promotion push massively.
It’s safe to say that the Midlands club are currently lacking quality cover in the middle of midfield, so bringing McDonald to the club would prepare them up nicely.Like what the TT have on offer? Sign up for more notifications!
