West Brom fans on Twitter desperate to avoid Harry Redknapp

Whilst there are plenty of impressive managers out there in the world of football, it is so much easier to get the wrong appointment than the right one, and Baggies fans are desperate for the right man to come in. Over the years The Hawthorns has seen some dire appointments, and if they go for Harry Redknapp it could be another one.

The news that Harry Redknapp could be the next man to take p the hot seat in the home dugout at The Hawthorns has come from the Birmingham Mail, where it’s been reported that after initially appearing as a 50/1 outsider for the job on Betfair, the 2018 I’m a Celebrity get me out of here winner is now 9/1. With those odds, Redknapp is, worryingly, the 5th favourite to get the job.
In truth, the best possible outcome for the Baggies would be to just accept that their club has made a huge error and bring back Darren Moore. The fans were not at all frustrated by Moore’s efforts, even if the club’s recent form has been lacklustre, and with the most important stage of the season around the corner in terms of the playoffs, the last thing the fans need is instability and uncertainty.

The Baggies are desperate to distance themselves from the Redknapp rumours and are desperate to get in a young progressive coach as opposed to the 72-year-old veteran.
