West Brom: Fans drool over Matheus Pereira’s showing against Nottingham Forest

Loads of West Bromwich Albion fans have heaped praise on midfielder Matheus Pereira after his performance during his side’s 2-2 draw against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
The 23-year-old played a key role in his side’s fortunes once more despite not being able to take all three points from the Hawthorns. A first-half goal from Callum Robinson and an own from Tobias Figueiredo ensured that Baggies had the lead. However, Forest’s Matty Cash unleashed a thunderous strike that ensured the spoils were shared.
Praise was aimed at Matheus Pereira after the game, and rightly so. His willingness to attack and create opportunities helped out Slaven Bilic’s side immensely. He won seven out of 14 of his duels, completed three out of five long balls, had two shots on target and made two successful dribbles, as per Sofascore. Unsurprisingly, supporters were delighted with his outing and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that will never fail to find you and assist you, while another described him as “unstoppable”.

#WBA unlucky today. We outplayed them for 90 minutes and Pereira was unstoppable (apart from being kicked all over the pitch).

Telepathic from Pereira… knew Robbo was going to score the second Pereira played him in! Watch it again! Pereira celebrates before Robbo even makes contact! #wba
