West Bromwich Albion fans have reacted to some memorable footage via the club’s official Twitter account.
The Baggies have been very much up and down over recent seasons, spending time in the Premier League and in now in the Championship.
Under the guidance of Croatian boss Slaven Bilic, the Hawthorns outfit are fully expectant on gaining automatic promotion to the England’s top flight, sitting second with nine games remaining in the season (BBC Sport).
Looking back over some memorable times at the club, West Brom’s Twitter admin opted to share footage of the 2007/2008 campaign which saw them win promotion to the Premier League.
Chris Brunt, who is still playing football at the club, scored the decisive goal on that day to earn a point against Southampton, which in turn would ultimately see the Baggies finish top of the table that season.
Reacting to the footage, plenty of fans have fondly remembered Brunt’s goal, and will no doubt be excited for football’s return to see if their side can do similar and return to play the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea in the top flight.
