West Bromwich Albion travel to West Ham United this weekend as they try to get themselves a win in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Promotion is the aim this season for the Baggies, that much is clear, but with form in the league tailing off it might well be wise to try and use this catalyst for some fresh momentum.
Of course, that is easier said than done at the moment but it is clear that the Baggies have talent in the squad, they just need to reboot.
They’re going to have to do that, initially, without Matheus Pereira, though, with the attacking midfielder seeing the club accept a charge of violent conduct against him from the game against Stoke on Monday night:

A blow for the Baggies given the season that he has had, let’s take a look at what has been said about the news on social media:
Shouldn’t have done it, and the ban is justified but the guy has been kicked from pillar to post for weeks with zero protection.

Disgraceful this. FA talk about respecting referees. What an absolute joke. MP has been kicked and kicked week in week out with zero protection and when he inevitably and finally reacts they slp him with a 3 match ban. Do they want english football to progress past thuggery or??

This is the kind of behaviour that costs us, we don't need it. Have said it before, we need to be more streetwise and stop getting drawn into diving and senseless fouls. Our 2 most creative players are out now for some crucial games.

Is it okay to panic now

Could be a blessing, time to change things up, when he comes back hopefully, Bilic will have an alternative system change we can work on to help pereira!

Been too reliant on him since Diangana has been injured and needs a rest. Misses Cardiff, West Ham and Luton. Maybe Krov can step in at number 10 or HRK drops there and play Austin?
