West Bromwich Albion fans were left praising Matheus Pereira after his goalscoring contribution in the club’s 2-0 win over Queens Park Rangers.
The Brazilian scored a free-kick in the 84th minute of the game as the Baggies secured their fifth win of the Championship campaign (via BBC).
The goal against the west London side was the 23-year-old’s first for the club to add to his four assists in his seven games in the Championship this season (via Transfermarkt).
Pereira joined the Midlands club in the summer from Portuguese outfit Sporting CP on a season-long loan deal with a view to a permanent deal. It is thought the move will become permanent if the player makes a certain amount of appearances (via Express and Star).
Fans were lavishing praise on the 23-year-old after his goal against QPR as they took to Twitter to react to the win.
