West Bromwich Albion fans were reminiscing over their favourite James Morrison goal after the former 46-cap Scotland international retired from football.
There were many suggestions from the Hawthorns faithful, including his strikes against Blackburn Rovers and Birmingham City.
Morrison scored a stunning volley in the club’s 2-1 win over Blackburn back during the 2011/2012 season. A corner was whipped in before an attempted clearance was walloped into the back of the net by the 33-year-old (via WBA).
If his goal against Rovers was good, his strike against Birmingham was downright sublime. After being fed the ball just outside the penalty box, Morrison delicately chipped it over an on-rushing defender’s leg before smashing it in during a 3-1 win over their rivals (via BBC).
Fans flooded Twitter with their favourite goal from the former West Brom man, who made 341 appearances for the club, as they took to social media site to react.
