West Bromwich Albion will be pleased with their result against Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday as they managed to hold the Premier League side to a draw.
The Baggies are still in with a good chance of securing an automatic promotion place in the current campaign, with a couple of impressive transfer window signings before the end of this month helping their cause massively.
Interestingly, it appears as if the Midlands club are looking at securing a Premier League player, as according to the Daily Mail, West Bromwich Albion are hoping to convince Aboubakar Kamara to team up with Darren Moore.
Kamara is in a lot of trouble at current club Fulham at this moment in time, as he was told to stay away from the club’s training ground after he clashed with a security guard on Monday after attempting to discuss his future with chief executive, Alistair Mackintosh. And, the forward had found himself marginalised after incidents involving Aleksandr Mitrovic and was told to train with the club’s Under 23s.
Indeed, the Frenchman hasn’t exactly been able to reach his full potential in the current campaign, despite finding the back of the net five times, as he often struggles to find the end product.
Darren Moore risks making a transfer mistake by bringing the attacker to the Hawthorns as he looks no better than the likes of Dwight Gayle and Jay Rodriguez who are already successfully leading the line for West Brom.
And, Kamara scored seven goals but drew more cards in his first season in the Championship, which included seven yellow cards and one red, so he has already made a name for himself for all the wrong reasons at this level.
It’s safe to say that the Baggies need to be bring in proven player who will only have a positive impact on their push for automatic promotion, with Kamara yet to show enough quality or the right attitude for Moore to move in.
