# Chelsea: Blues fans react to Kepa Arrizabalaga’s performance vs Liverpool

**Plenty of Chelsea fans have been reacting to Kepa Arrizabalaga’s impressive performance after the goalkeeper made his long-awaited comeback against Liverpool in the FA Cup fifth round.**

The 25-year-old has struggled to keep his place in the starting line-up this year, losing his spot to the veteran Willy Caballero, and Lampard expected Kepa to make a noticeable impact. He quickly embraced the opportunity, making three saves in quick succession to deny Sadio Mane, Divock Origi and Curtis Jones and reminding everyone watching of his star quality ([Independent](https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/fa-league-cups/chelsea-liverpool-kepa-arrizabalaga-frank-lampard-fa-cup-result-highlights-a9373516.html)).

According to [SofaScore](https://www.sofascore.com/player/kepa-arrizabalaga/232422), the Spaniard played the full 90′ minutes, registering 5 saves and 3 clearances inside the box throughout the game, finishing with a high overall rating of 8.2.

Kepa became the most expensive keeper in the world when Chelsea paid a record [£71m](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45120514) to Athletic Bilbao for the Spanish international in 2018. His market value now stands at £54m via [Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/kepa/profil/spieler/192279) and here’s a look at how fans reacted online.
