# Chelsea demanding £80m for Premier League superstar

![Hazard](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/Hazard-500x318.jpg)Chelsea fans enjoying some afternoon cocktails in the Transfer Tavern are pleased to see their side take a hard stance on one of their key-players.

[*The Sun*](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/transfernews/6888537/Chelsea-will-demand-at-least-80million-for-Eden-Hazard-as-Real-Madrid-eye-move.html)[states](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/transfernews/6888537/Chelsea-will-demand-at-least-80million-for-Eden-Hazard-as-Real-Madrid-eye-move.html) Chelsea have placed an £80m price-tag over Eden Hazard, who has emerged as a huge summer target for Spanish giants Real Madrid.

Defending Premier League champions Chelsea have struggled this season and seem destined to miss out on a spot in the top-four, which means a mass exodus is possible due to the lack of Champions League football on offer.

Hazard, yet to score a Premier League goal this season, is widely regarded to be on his way out of Stamford Bridge but [Chelsea will demand £80m](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/transfernews/6888537/Chelsea-will-demand-at-least-80million-for-Eden-Hazard-as-Real-Madrid-eye-move.html) to even consider a sale of the PFA Player of the Year.

The Belgian international is highly-rated across world football and the price-tag is unlikely to be a stumbling block for a side that possesses the same financial prowess as Real Madrid, whilst Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona are also keeping tabs.

Our landlord believes no player is worth that much, especially someone as out-of-sorts as Hazard, and believes Chelsea would be mad to turn down such a lucrative price.
