# Chelsea: Fans bemoan lack of clean sheets after Trezeguet goal

**Chelsea fans were bemoaning the club’s lack of a clean sheet after Trezeguet scored for Aston Villa in their 2-1 defeat at Stamford Bridge.**

The goal proved to come against the run of play as the visitors scored with what was just their second shot on target [(via WhoScored)](https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/1376067/Live/England-Premier-League-2019-2020-Chelsea-Aston-Villa).

Trezeguet, who scored the goal, did so with just his [seventh touches of the ball](https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/1376067/Live/England-Premier-League-2019-2020-Chelsea-Aston-Villa), fewer than both Kepa Arrizabalaga and Tom Heaton.

Chelsea have struggled to keep clean sheets this season, [keeping just four in 22 games](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/15/Fixtures/England-Chelsea) across all competitions.

Their record in the Premier League is far worse, having kept just three in 15 league games as they’ve conceded a mammoth 21 goals in their 15 games [(via Premier League)](https://www.premierleague.com/stats/top/clubs/goals_conceded?se=274).

Fans seemed to be unhappy at the fact the club couldn’t keep a clean sheet as they took to Twitter to react.

Here is a selection of tweets from the west London faithful:
