# Chelsea: Fans go berserk as Frank Lampard is named Manager of the Month for October

**Chelsea fans have been going berserk after Frank Lampard was named the Premier League’s Manager of the Month for October.**

The west London club enjoyed a brilliant October, winning all three of their league games by an aggregate score of nine goals to three, with two of the wins being away from home [(via WhoScored)](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/15/Fixtures/England-Chelsea).

Chelsea also opened up a [five-point gap](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50106246) over rivals Arsenal in the race to finish in the top four that month after the Gunners [won just one of their three games](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/13/Fixtures/England-Arsenal).

October also included some brilliant victories in the Champions League for the former Derby County manager as he led the Blues to a victory away to last season’s semi-finalists Ajax and Lille.

Fans are overjoyed after it was announced that the former England international had taken home the award for last month as they took to Twitter to react.
